Submit Bat Record

Contributing to accurate records of bat activity within the Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire area is one of the key roles of the group.

Please follow the process to register any bat activity in the form of sightings, bat detector passes, roost reports and so on.

This information supports the work of the Records Officer to ensure development takes full account of any areas known to have bats.

The presence of bats in an area does not prevent development, but requires that bats are fully considered within any plan that is proposed.

To assist the submission of records the following link opens a new window, with a map that will find the grid reference for any point.

The map can be manually navigated or you can jump to locations by searching for a post code or street name.

Once you have the Grid Reference use the record submission form below which automatically passes to the Site Administrator and Records Officer when you click submit.

If you have numerous records the map can be used to compile a list of references which can be exported to an excel spreadsheet.  If you have records in a separate spreadsheet or document please email to records@berksbats.org.uk

Many thanks for all records entered,

Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire Bat Group.
